How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account directly inside the Wallet Plan app. No need to contact support — the deletion is immediate and permanent.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open Wallet Plan on your device.
  2. Tap the Settings tab (bottom navigation bar).
  3. Scroll to the very bottom of the Settings screen.
  4. Tap "Delete Account".
  5. Read the warning message carefully.
  6. Enter your current password to confirm your identity.
  7. Tap "Delete" to permanently delete your account.

Your account and all associated data will be deleted immediately.


What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently and immediately deleted:

All your personal financial accounts✅ Yes
All your transactions✅ Yes
Your app preferences and settings✅ Yes

If you are the family owner

If your account is the owner of a family group, deleting your account will also permanently delete:

⚠️ Other family members will lose access to all shared data. Their individual Wallet Plan accounts will remain active, but they will no longer have a family group.

What Data Is Retained

After account deletion, no personal data is retained in our database.

The following may persist temporarily in third-party systems outside our direct control:

Service Data Retention
Sentry (crash reporting) Anonymized error logs linked to your user ID Up to 90 days, then auto-deleted
Google Firebase backups Encrypted database backups Up to 30 days, then auto-deleted

We do not retain financial data, transaction history, or personal identifiers beyond the deletion date.
